Can I import a list of affiliates I already have?

I have a list of people that have helped me promote events in the past. Can I bring this data into RegisterMySeat or do I have to ask them to register as affiliates?

    Absolutely. There is an import facility within the Affiliate module. This will read files in ‘csv’ format. You simply need to tell the system what order the columns are in.

    However, we are very happy to help you with this as part of our setup process for your account. Sometimes, it takes a little work to make sure the list is in the right format with the appropriate information for the system.

    Also, it is worth remembering that there are several customizable fields in the system. Some clients use one of these for instance to record which affiliates are XL Life members so that they can send selective emails to them.
